Season review and winter training.


Its now the end of the season and from talking to a few people over the last few weeks a lot of you are already looking to next season.

Before you head out for the 5 hour bike rides in your “base training” phase and prepare for next season, take a step back and review last season.

Triathlon Training

Ask yourself the following questions.

  • Did you achieve what you set out to this season?
  • If not why not?
  • Did you get any injuries through the season?
  • Do you have any now?
  • Where were you strong?
  • Where were you weak?
  • What do you want to achieve next season?
  • How are you going to do this?

Think about it over a few days and write down the answers. If you like you can email us at

If you get all your knocks and niggles sorted early and have a plan moving forward you have a much better chance of achieving your goal for the 2016 season.
